PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN PRAKTIS GURU MILITER DAN PELATIH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KAPABILITAS LATIHAN TARUNA AKMIL

Abstract

The development of competent, adaptive, disciplined, and professional military officers requires a learning process that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This study aims to analyze practical learning approaches implemented by military instructors and trainers and formulate an instructional framework that can strengthen the training capabilities of Military Academy cadets. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review. Data were collected from scientific articles, books, previous research, and official documents related to experiential learning, deliberate practice, feedback, simulation-based training, and military education. The data were analyzed through source reduction, thematic categorization, comparison, interpretation, and synthesis. The results indicate that effective practical military learning should integrate clear training standards, instructor demonstrations, direct practice, progressive repetition, immediate feedback, after-action reflection, and contextual scenarios. Based on the synthesis, this study proposes the praktis framework, consisting of Purpose and standards, Role-model demonstration, Application, Koreksi/feedback, Tinjauan/reflection, Iteration, and Situational scenarios. The approach is expected to strengthen technical skills, decision-making, teamwork, adaptability, discipline, and training readiness among cadets. Future research should empirically test the framework through experimental or mixed-method designs and measure cadets' performance before and after its implementation.
